I know I know.... I have been a real slacker. No new posts in forever! This past couple months have been life changing, and focusing on the positive is my main goal at this time. I really just want this year to be over and done with.

Currently I am working very hard at my job. Piece of Mind is opening a new Head Shop (this will be store 8!), in the U-District. Its really big and really sick! I am swapped with orders and setting appointments to get some rad pieces. We will be having an opening party December 17th with free beer and wine. The grand opening will be December 18th. So, come see me sometime and cop a new piece! NEW STORE 45TH AND UNIVERSITY!!!! WE WILL ALSO SELL BEER!!!!

R.I.P. BENNY HILLS

As you can all see, I have not posted any new blogs in a while. I apologize for that!!! A dear friend of mine has passed on. It was a tragedy for the whole community! I want to thank all my friends and family for the support through these hard times. Ben was such a good friend to me, introducing me to my best friend Jessica Luna over six years ago, going on trips together, introducing me to his family the list goes on and on! Bottom line is Ben was too good for this world and he will be greatly missed.... I love you Ben, always and forever!

So I am going to check out a new bar in my neighborhood today. Its in the spot where Anne Bonny use to be right next store to Winners Circle. I hear its real cozy, like a living room hence the name. My girl, Gogobezerker is Djing there during Happy Hour(starts at 5pm), I'm gonna check it out and give ya the full report tomorrow!

While in Brooklyn, I went to the Beauty Bar. The atmosphere is 70s roller rink, meets a hair salon. Scattered about on the tables was all this, "Got2be" Brand hair gel. Seeing as I was living out of my purse and hadn't had a shower in 2 days, I picked some up. Upon further investigation, I found out that it was infused with pheromones and scientifically proven to "positively influence the psychology of attraction." Well I must say it worked! Lisa Dank and I joked about it all trip, on the subways stressed out we would just rub in a little gel and know the night would be good after that! Only now I found out that this product is actually for men!!! Proves you guys are all a little gay!

My NYC Story

So most of you have already heard I was stuck in NYC for three extra days because I had lost my wallet, in a cab on my way to the Champagne show. It was a bummer, espically since I was supposed to go to the airport and fly home the next day. Instead we got mini bottles of Jamie and partied the night away. Being stranded in the biggest city in the world with no money, no id and no place to stay, I think I did considerably well. you would be suprised how many people wanted to help me- from money to places to stay to free drinks, I had a great time, stressful but great!!! the first time I tried to get on the plane, the airlines were not having it, the police came and I turned on the waterworks! They did wave all flight fees ect. It sucked because I had to store my bags in the airport and live out of my purse for three days. I finally got on the airplane with a police report. I didnt think it would be that easy, but I walked right through!


Before my feasico, I went to some very fun parties, from Wu-tang studios kicking it with Cappadonna, meeting a guy called Magic Brownie ( fuckin lame haha) to going to the Tiki Bar with Ninjasonik. I hung out with those dudes throughtout the week, rolling with there crew is a great time! When I saw them live, I really dug it- I mean Bad Brains cover???? Fucking Rad!!! They talk kinda funny tho- like saying "dot com" after shit? Who does that? So funny though! Stay tuned for interviews as well as coverage of the Matt & Kim video they are colabin on.





Overall, I lalala-LOVE NYC. The people are more my pace, I am orginally from the east coast so it makes sense.... All I have to say is watch out Seattle, you might lose me to NYC- the city that never sleeps!!!
